Mt. Moriah is a dynamic spiritual organism, empowered by the Holy Spirit; to share Christ with as many people as possible in our church, community, and throughout the world.
Pastor Simmons grew up in church. His father was a preacher, and his mother and father taught the
bible and about the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Being led by the Holy Spirit, Pastor Simmons established Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church on April 18, 1980 .
Mt. Moriah provides an empowering worship and teaching of the word. Under the leadership of Min. A.G. Simmons, Mt. Moriah recognizes that mission is essential and that it drives us beyond the walls of our church to serve and meet the needs of what Christ calls the least of them.
